Blossoms Day Nurseries are purpose built settings based in the village of Hambleton and Burn offering a spacious and stimulating environment indoors and outdoors. 

 

Blossoms aims to provide a rich learning environment empowering children to develop to his or her full potential. We provide a safe, secure, loving and stimulating environment and will encourage children to be confident, independent and to develop their self- esteem.

Our first nursery in Hambleton opened its doors in June 2018. Due to popular demand we decided to open our second nursery in Burn in July 2022. Blossoms is owned and managed by Melissa and Rachel who have a real passion for proving high-quality childcare. Both Melissa and Rachel have had years of experience working with children across all age ranges, working for outstanding and award winning nurseries. Melissa who holds her BA Honours in early years, focuses on the practice and ensures outstanding childcare is being modelled and provided whilst Rachel who holds her CIPD, focuses on the policies and procedures that underpin the practice and operations.

We provide care for children using the Early Years Foundation Stage and working on a key person approach. We believe the relationship between a key person and families gives you the opportunity to share your child’s successes, struggles and milestones with someone you know is fully committed to working with you and your family.

We believe the outdoor environment enables the children to not only develop their skills and move in a large space, but also allows the children to learn and explore in the natural environment. We take every opportunity to access the outdoors with the children with many of the rooms having continuous access to the outdoors, as recommended within the EYFS guidelines.
