Outdoor Play

Blossoms provide large purpose-built outdoor play areas for all age groups to enjoy. Where children can learn to build, climb, hide in the den or just run off that excess energy!

Our outdoor areas provide an exciting stimulating experiences for all children to enjoy, including; high-quality resin bound rubber crumb services, a mud kitchen including a water pumping station, construction area with a variety of materials to explore, play area with bridges and balancing blocks, natural storytelling area including a bug hotel, a gazebo providing a calming, shaded area of the garden for children to relax and engaged in focused activities, and a sensory garden.

Our staff team ensure that when planning activities, they can be enjoyed outdoors as well as inside. We follow the children’s interests, allowing them to learn through their play, wherever they naturally want to be. Every area has resources that are interesting and exciting such as mirrors, chalkboards, water and general play equipment.

We encourage all children to bring their puddle suits, so we can play outside in all weathers, studying the cause and effect different weather has on the environment. Having a large canopy offers shelter in all weathers meaning even our youngest children can play safely outside.

So – whether it’s with wellies and raincoats or sunhats and sun cream – we are always ready for fun outside!
