Welcome to Blossoms Day Nursery
Our Team
Blossoms are passionate about providing loving and nurturing childcare. The main way we do it is through our team. Everyone who works at Blossoms embraces our outlook wholeheartedly and feels as passionately about providing quality childcare.
All our staff are qualified, experienced and committed professionals who enjoy caring for children with unlimited understanding and positive direction. Blossoms takes pride in only employing highly qualified and motivated staff.
All staff are put through the initial Blossom Unique Development Programme and are continually trained, coached and observed which is paramount to Blossoms success and an integral part to staff training and development.
Each child at Blossoms Day Nursery is assigned a key person to help ensure that every child’s care is tailored to meet their individual needs, to help the child become familiar with the nursery, offer a settled relationship for the child and build a relationship with their parents.
The key person is introduced to the child and parents before the child starts nursery. The key person provides a firm bridge between nursery and home life and supports parents in guiding their child’s development at home and would help families engage with more specialist support if necessary.
About Blossoms Day Nursery
Meet the Managing Directors
Melissa Swales
I started my career while studying at university and working as a Nursery Practitioner. I then progressed to being an EYFS Manager for a chain of nurseries once graduating with my BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and completing my EYPS at Level 6.
I have a real passion for providing outstanding quality childcare and believe the most important years in a child’s life for development is in the early years.
Creating an environment where the vision of ‘Quality is our Reality’ is at the heart of both our nurseries.
Rachel Fritz
After leaving school I went on to complete my Level 3 Childcare where I worked in this industry for a couple of years. A change in career led me down the HR route and I found a real passion for training and development.
Ten years on and after having my own child I was offered a job in HR for a group of nurseries and this combined re-ignited my passion for working with children.
One of our beliefs at Blossoms is, you can’t provide quality care if your employees don’t receive quality training.
